Journalism & Media studies

The Media and Journalism Studies (MJS) program at Asog Hills College  teaches students the essentials of writing for magazines, social media, websites, newspapers, TV, public relations and more. The program explains the basics of news media, culture and politics. Some of the specialisations in Journalism & Media include Broadcast Journalism, Digital Journalism, Political Journalism, Journalism Design and Graphics, Science and Environmental Journalism, and Public Relations and Advertising.

Accounting

Accounting is the practice of recording, classifying, and reporting on business transactions for a business. It provides feedback to management regarding the financial results and status of an organization. At Asog Hills College Students learn how to create, maintain and audit a detailed and accurate system that displays the finances of a business or organization. They study the theory behind accounting and learn how to analyze the financial position of a firm or organization

Electrical Engineering

Electrical engineering is the design, building and maintenance of electrical control systems, machinery and equipment. At Asog Hills College, students learn the  fundamental principles of Electrical engineering from mathematics and physics. It covers but not limited to the following fields: Power Engineering. Electronic Engineering. Computer Engineering.

Marketing

A marketing major studies the branding and promotion of products and services to the public, which is targeted through specific demographics. At Asog Hills College  students will be well-versed in advertising, communications, consumer behavior, public relations, and marketing strategy and research.

Statistics

Statistics is the science and, arguably, also the art of learning from data. As a discipline it is concerned with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, as well as the effective communication and presentation of results relying on data. At Asog Hills College Students learn how to identify trends, how to use statistical analysis to find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase sales.

Banking and Finance

Banking and Finance explores the dynamic, fast-paced world of money, shares, credit and investments.  At Asog Hills College Students learn  the theory needed and get a practical real-world understanding of the financial services industry and financial markets.

Economics

Economics is a discipline which combines politics, sociology, psychology and history. At Asog Hills College students gain a toolkit of skills, approaches and ways of thinking that you can apply to a wide range of problems

Asog Creative's incubators

The Asog Hills Creative's incubator Is a programme designed to mentor and empower entrepreneurs through our foundation. Students who qualify for this programme learn how to solve core challenges Entrepreneurs encounter when trying to activate creative projects that  catalysts social transformation. The process provides the inspiration and experience needed for building Local capacity through providing customized technical assistance and a professional learning community of establish business executives, Educators and social activists.

Admission requirements

To prospective students who wish to study at Asog Hills College are required to fulfil any of the following:
1. Secondary school GPA is required
2. Secondary school record is required
3. Completion of college-preparatory program is recommended
4. Formal demonstration of competencies is neither required nor recommended
5. Admission test scores are required
6. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is not required.Matured students who wish to enrol for any of our courses without a High school diploma should be 20 years and above
